The 2025 Magnesium Science & Technology Award and the International Summit on Magnesium Materials
To recognize individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to magnesium science and technology over the past year; to strengthen academic exchange, technological innovation, and collaboration among scholars, industries, and academia–industry consortia; to facilitate the dissemination, promotion, and application of research achievements in magnesium and magnesium alloys; and to attract more experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs to engage in discipline development, technologicalinnovation, and engineering applications of magnesium and its alloys— the “Ceremony of the 2025 Magnesium Science & Technology Award and the International Summit on Magnesium Materials,” co-hosted by the International Mg Society (IMS) and the Journal of Magnesium and Alloys (JMA), is scheduled to be held in Ma’anshan, Anhui Province, China, from November 15 to 17, 2025.

The Magnesium Science & Technology Award is jointly established by the International Mg Society (IMS), the Journal of Magnesium and Alloys (JMA), the Caixing Foundation, and other organizations. It comprises the Grand Award and the Annual Award. The Award aims to honor individuals or groups who have made significant contributions to magnesium science and technology, encourage more scientists and engineers to engage in magnesium-related research and applications, and promote the overall advancement of magnesium science and technology.
