The 8th International Conference on Magnesium (ICM 8) & the 13th International Conference on Magnesium Alloys and their Applications (Mg 2024) will be held in Chongqing, China, during International Magnesium Week, which aim to further promote the understanding, development and applications of magnesium and its alloys.
Since the 1st International Conference on Magnesium was held in Beijing in 2003, ICM conferences were held in Beijing (2005), Qingdao (2008, 2011, and 2013), Shenyang (2017), Shenyang, Chongqing and online (2020). The 1st International Conference on Magnesium Alloys and their Applications was held in 1986 in London, the 12th International Conference on Magnesium Alloys and their Applications (Mg 2021) was held online.
