The 10th National Congress of the China Association for Science and Technology and the National Academician Conference were held from May 28 to May 30, 2021 in the Great Hall of the People, Beijing. The conferences were held at an important moment when the world has undergone major changes and accelerated evolution unseen in a century, and China has fully embarked on a new journey of building a modern socialist country. On the morning of the May 28th, President Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, attended the first plenary meeting and delivered an important speech. On the afternoon of the May 28th, Premier Li Keqiang attended the second plenary meeting and delivered an important speech. On the morning of the May 29th, Comrade Wang Huning, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee, attended the third plenary meeting and delivered a speech on behalf of the Party Central Committee. On the afternoon of the May 29th, Liu He, Vice Premier of the State Council, gave an important report to the academicians. Academician Fusheng Pan, Chairman of the Chongqing Science and Technology Association and Honorary Director of CCMg, participated in the National Academician Conference and the 10th National Congress of the China Association for Science and Technology.
