On December 16, 2021, Chongqing Millison Technology Co., Ltd and National Engineering Research Center for Magnesium Alloys (CCMg) in Chongqing University held a cooperation signing ceremony. Mr. Yajun Yu, President of Millison Technology, Mr. Minghai Ma, Executive Vice President, Mr. Bo Zhang, Director of Technology Center, Jianming Zhang, Director of Human Resources and Information Technology, Professor Fusheng Pan, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chairman of Chongqing Science and Technology Association, Honorary Director of CCMg, Professor Dingfei Zhang, Director of CCMg, Professor Bin Jiang, Deputy Director of CCMg, Professor Jian Peng, Deputy Chief Engineer of CCMg, Professor Jun Tan, and Associate Professor Jiangfeng Song attended the signing ceremony. Director Dingfei Zhang presided over the cooperation signing ceremony. Academician Fusheng Pan and President Yajun Yu signed a technical cooperation framework agreement, and Professor Bin Jiang and Mr. Ma Minghai jointly signed a super large component cooperation agreement.

After the signing of the contract, President Yajun Yu gave a speech and believed that the establishment of the school-enterprise cooperation platform provided valuable resources for enterprise innovation and R&D. The two parties will further accelerate the pace of cooperation in the fields of talent training and professional joint construction to achieve " Complementary advantages and develop together". Academician Pan gave a concluding speech and gave a detailed introduction on the market prospects and strategic directions of cutting-edge materials such as magnesium-based biodegradable biomaterials, magnesium-based hydrogen storage materials, and magnesium ion batteries; and on the integrated structure and function of magnesium alloys. A detailed summary is made on the application of lightweight, damping, and heat dissipation in automobiles and communications. In particular, it is pointed out that the design and production capacity of super large die castings has a huge influence in the industry, and both parties should make full use of the platforms and talents of both parties to set short-term, medium-term and long-term goals; to strengthen communication and collaboration in project application, platform construction, and standard construction.

Through this contract, CCMg will carry out long-term in-depth cooperation with Millison Technology in the areas of large-scale structural parts for new energy vehicles, structural and functional integrated materials, etc., to jointly develop new products and new technologies. The research and development of new applications and the transformation of results continue to promote the integration of technology and economy, improve the level of intelligence in the manufacturing industry, and make new contributions to the development of China's die-casting industry.
